📍 🇮🇹 Lost at Vittorio Emmanuele

Here, for this post, just a touching letter of French historian Henri Focillon (our mascot) - for the sake of kindness, for the sake of historical depth:

"December 4th 1906,
The streets are not paved dear parents, but tiled, slabbed, sometimes without pavements, which gives them a lot of character. The Victor-Emmanuel galleries are more or less the Rue de la Paix in Paris, its covered version. Many international shops. I look for lonely corners, but I am always overtaken by life, persecuted by trams, bumped into by hurrying men in bright silks..."
